Download Pharma Remit
Install it, set up your shop and bill a few items. Ask for a licence once you are satisfied it fits.
Nothing else to install — the installer includes everything the software needs.
Windows will warn you. Here is why, and what to do
The first time you run the installer, Windows shows a blue screen saying "Windows protected your PC" and names the publisher as unknown.
This is expected. It appears because the installer does not carry a paid code-signing certificate yet, not because anything is wrong with the file. Click More info, then Run anyway.
If you would rather be certain the file you downloaded is the one we published, open Command Prompt and run:
certutil -hashfile PharmaRemit_Setup_1.0.12.0.exe SHA256
It should print:
adcc4bc198b71d17f3238bb063ef402ea8ad47416891ea99757ced4d57df83b0
Installing it
Run the installer
Double-click the downloaded file. Click through the SmartScreen warning as above, then approve the Windows permission prompt — it will say the publisher is unknown, which is the same reason.
Set up your shop
On first run, enter your pharmacy name, address, GSTIN and drug licence numbers. These go on every invoice, so enter them carefully.
Bring in your stock
Enter opening stock by hand, or send us your existing product list in Excel or CSV and we will help bring it in.
Set a backup folder
Choose a pen drive, external disk or network folder for backups, and take one. Do this before you have a month of billing in the system, not after.
What you need
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
- About 400 MB free disk space
- A printer, if you print bills
- No internet connection for day-to-day billing
Upgrading from an earlier version? Run the new installer over the top. Your database, settings and backups are left untouched — you do not need to uninstall first.
Stuck on the install?
Send us a photograph of the screen and we will tell you what to do next.
