What a shop gets

The whole counter, the whole back office and the whole compliance file, in one licence.

Retail and wholesale modes

A retail counter and a wholesale B2B business in one app, each with its own dashboard, invoicing and reports, switched from the top of any screen.

GST that holds at filing

CGST, SGST or IGST settled from the GSTIN. GSTR-1 tables, HSN summary and a tax summary report. A filed invoice keeps the values it was saved with.

Batch, expiry and FEFO

Every batch with its own expiry, purchase rate and supplier. Sales go out nearest-expiry-first, and short-expiry stock is flagged before it becomes a loss.

Purchases without typing

Read a distributor’s invoice from a PDF, a webcam or a photo taken on your phone. Items, batches, expiries, rates, free goods and tax slabs come off it.

A drug bank of 2.5 lakh

Brand, composition, manufacturer, pack and price, before you enter a single product. Add to stock from a search result, and press F5 for substitutes.

Registers for inspection

Schedule H, H1 and NDPS written as the sale happens, with prescriber, patient and the staff member who billed it. Printable for the drug inspector.

Profit, not just turnover

Profit by drug, daily gross profit, ABC analysis, top sellers, dead and low stock. The numbers that tell you what to order and what to stop buying.

Accounts and dues

Party ledgers for buyers and suppliers, ageing, payment vouchers, day book, and a WhatsApp reminder for a customer who owes you money.

More than one counter

Two or three billing machines on one shop licence, billing against the same stock, so the same strip cannot go out twice.

Made for how an Indian pharmacy actually runs

Most billing software is a cash register with medicine names typed into it. A pharmacy has to answer to the GST department and the drug inspector, and both of them ask for things a cash register cannot produce.

Every batch, every expiry

Stock is held by batch with its own expiry date and purchase rate. Sales go out nearest-expiry-first, so slow-moving stock does not quietly age on the shelf. Short-expiry stock is flagged before it becomes a loss, not after.

GST that holds up at filing

Correct CGST, SGST or IGST decided from the GSTIN on the invoice, not guessed. HSN summary, B2B, B2CS and B2CL tables ready for GSTR-1. A filed invoice keeps the values it was saved with, so editing a product today cannot change a return you filed in April.

The registers an inspector asks for

Schedule H, H1 and NDPS entries are written as the sale is made, with the prescriber, the patient and the staff member who billed it. When the inspection comes, the register is already complete.

Purchases without the typing

Photograph or open a supplier's invoice and the software reads the items, batches, expiries, rates and tax slabs off it. Nothing enters your stock until you have checked it on screen and confirmed.

Customer accounts and dues

Credit sales, part payments, running balances and ageing per customer. Send a payment reminder on WhatsApp without leaving the screen.

More than one counter

Busy shops run two or three billing counters on one shop licence. Every terminal bills against the same stock, so two counters cannot sell the same strip.

Your shop's data stays in your shop

Pharma Remit keeps everything in an encrypted database on your own computer. There is no company server holding your sales.

Works offline

Billing, stock and reports need no internet connection. A broadband failure does not stop the counter.

Backups you control

Back up to a folder, a pen drive or a shared drive you choose. Restore on a new machine when hardware fails.

Staff accounts

Each person bills under their own sign-in, so every sale and every register entry carries a name.

No subscription lock-in

A licence belongs to the shop. The software keeps running on your machine.

See the software, not a description of it

Every screen below is the real thing, running on Windows. Shown with a test pharmacy, so none of the figures are a real shop's.

Both halves of the trade, in one licence

Retail counter

Patient, prescriber and prescription on the bill. Schedule H, H1 and NDPS captured as you sell. Pause a bill, resume it, save it as a quotation, send it on WhatsApp, or show a UPI QR for the exact amount.

Wholesale B2B

Tax invoices and challans to retailers and hospitals, with drug licence and GSTIN on the buyer, credit periods, inter-state handling, order fulfilment and an ageing matrix for what you are owed.

Switch in one click

The same shop, the same stock, two modes. The toggle sits at the top of every screen, and each mode has its own dashboard, invoicing and reports.

A phone at the counter

The Android companion pairs with the shop computer over your own network, so stock and catalogue travel with you down the aisle.

The parts that save you typing

A pharmacy runs on speed at the counter. These are the shortcuts that make the difference between software you tolerate and software you reach for.

Bill in plain words

Type “1 strip paracetamol to John” and press Enter. The line is read, checked against stock and added. Function keys for everything else, so your hands stay on the keyboard.

Read a prescription with the camera

Hold a prescription to the webcam and the medicines are read off it. You confirm each one before it reaches the bill.

Read a supplier invoice

Open the distributor’s PDF or a photo and the items, batches, expiries, rates, free goods and tax slabs are extracted. Nothing enters stock until you have checked it.

Substitutes on F5

Out of stock, or the customer wants something cheaper? The drug bank knows what shares the same composition.

Scan with the phone in your pocket

The Android companion pairs with the shop computer over your own network and reads barcodes and labels with the phone camera, so you can work down the aisle instead of walking back to the counter.

Nothing is purged at year end

Records stay in the database for as long as you keep it. Every report runs over any period you choose — last month, last year, or five years back — which is what you need when a notice arrives about something old.

A drug bank of 2.5 lakh medicines

Brand, composition, manufacturer, pack size and price, ready before you have entered a single product. Add to stock straight from a search result.
